Kali (residential seminar) - Glarisegg

This residential seminar will be devoted to the practices of KALI: the devouring of inner demons.

By “demons” one should not think we mean external entities but understand instead that as the great Yogini Machig pointed out: “All demons are manifestations of the ego.” In the dark, we will work on some of the twelve basic emotions through a ritual of finding the place in the body where they manifest, and then imagining a room in our body where we invite the emotion to take shape so we can confront it and expel it from us.

The twelve afflicting emotions are:

• Lack /insufficiencies
• Fear
• Abandonment
• Neurotic love
• Addictions
• Pride, positive and negative judgment of oneself, of others.
• Familial complexes: father, mother
• Anger, violence
• Shame, Guilt, Unworthiness
• Vanity
• Cruelty
• Sadness, depression

These practices are powerful. They are not recommended for people who have psychological weaknesses.

This seminar is reserved for regular students. To participate, Daniel's authorization is required. The request can only be made during a weekend course or a residential seminar.  Daniel does not answer by e-mail.

TIMES: First day: check-in at 5,30p.m. and the seminar starts at 6p.m. || Last day: end of the seminar at 1p.m.

During this seminar the Yoga of touch will be practiced.

TO TAKE: 

• Comfortable clothes.
• A meditation cushion.
• Take a sheet to protect the mattress.
• A towel.
• Your own oil.  Sesame or olive oil cannot be used.  An odorless oil such as Biotone or Weleda is recommended.
• If you have a mattress you can bring it.
• A scarf or bandage to cover the eyes during the Kali practices.
